Hanoi (VNA) - President of South Africa Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa will pay a state visit to Vietnam from October 23 – 24, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Vu Hong Thanh met with Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces, Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane, and held talks with Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of South Africa, Annelie Lotriet in Cape Town on July 16, as part of his official visit to South Africa from July 13 - 16.
They agreed to further deepen collaboration between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the ANC’s OR Tambo School of Leadership in the areas of leader and manager training, political theory research, as well as academic and expert exchanges in public governance, public policy, and strategic-level capacity building.
The two sides agreed to promote the implementation of the outcomes of the phone talks between the CPV and ANC leaders, along with the MoU on cooperation between the two Parties inked during the South African side's visit.
