Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – In a vibrant atmosphere ahead of the grand national festival, the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia solemnly held a ceremony on August 27 to mark the 80th anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam (September 2).

In his remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh recalled the nation’s glorious milestones, from the historic moment when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence proclaiming the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, to the country’s remarkable journey to become one of the world’s 40 leading economies.
He emphasised that under the leadership of the Party and Government, Vietnam is entering an “era of national rise” with the ambition of becoming an innovation hub and ranking among the world’s top 30 in digital competitiveness and e-government by 2030.
