- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam has described the victory on April 30, 1975 as a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, the will for independence, resilience, and the strength of the great national unity.
In his recent article, titled “Vietnam is one, the Vietnamese people are one,” the Party chief stressed that the victory was the result of the Vietnamese people's unwavering determination to build a unified nation that could never be divided by any force. Read full story
- National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man offered incense and flowers at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery and the Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery in the central province of Quang Tri province on the occasion of 50th anniversary of the Reunification of Vietnam (April 30, 1975 - 2025).
Chairman Man expressed profound gratitude and deep respect for the great sacrifices of the fallen heroes who gave their youth, courageously fought, and sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation and the happiness of the people. Read full story

- Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Nguyen Trong Nghia has sent a letter of condolences to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam following the passing of Pope Francis.
In the letter, Nghia expressed his deep sorrow when learning about the passing of Pope Francis, the supreme spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Read full story
- Twenty-two outstanding Vietnamese war-themed films will be screened under the special programme titled "Half a Century of Vietnamese War Films" as part of the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III), taking place from June 29 to July 5 in Da Nang.

DANAFF III will showcase a curated selection of Vietnamese war films produced after 1975. Audiences will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions and meet filmmakers and artists behind these powerful works. Read full story
- A direct flight from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, landed at Da Nang International Airport on April 27, bringing over 180 visitors to the central coastal city of Da Nang for tourism and cultural experiences.

- High-ranking delegations from Laos and Cambodia will attend the grand ceremony celebrating Vietnam’s 50th anniversary of liberation of the South and national reunification at the invitation of the Vietnamese Party and State leaders.
