Hanoi (VNA) – TV360, the online television platform of Viettel Telecom, has obtained the right to exclusively broadcast Germany’s Bundesliga in Vietnam for three consecutive seasons from 2025 to 2028.

Under the agreement signed with Bundesliga International (DFL), TV360 will deliver all 306 matches each season of Germany’s top-tier football league to Vietnamese audiences.

Peer Naubert, Chief Marketing Officer of Bundesliga International, noted over the past five years, the number of Bundesliga fans in Vietnam has grown by more than a third – a testament to the country’s deep passion for football.

With Viettel’s strong media presence and innovation in content delivery, Bundesliga International is ideally positioned to expand its reach and bring Vietnamese fans even closer to the clubs, players, and stories that make the Bundesliga so special, he said.

Beyond live matches, the two sides will roll out a series of fan engagement activities.

The Bundesliga Watch Party will offer offline viewing events where fans can meet commentators and influencers, as well as see the Meisterschale trophy in Vietnam.

Additionally, TV360 will produce and exclusively broadcast the series “Journey to the Bundesliga”, documenting young players and coaches from The Cong Viettel Football Club training with Bundesliga teams in Germany.

Founded in 1963, the Bundesliga is renowned for its passionate atmosphere, fast pace, and distinctive German style. Known as the “league of scoring records,” it witnessed Robert Lewandowski surpass Gerd Müller’s 40-goal season record with 41 goals in 2020-2021.

The league also boasts one of the world’s highest average stadium attendances, nearly 40,000 per match, with Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park regularly selling out its 81,000 seats./.
