Honda Vietnam’s motorcycle, auto sales drop in September

For the fiscal year from April to September 2025, total motorcycle sales amounted to 1,028,183 units, a slight drop of 0.2% from a year earlier.

Hanoi (VNA) – Honda Vietnam has reported declines in both motorcycle and automobile sales in September compared to the same period last year, with decreases of 11.4% and 52.8%, respectively.

According to Honda Vietnam's business report, retail motorcycle sales reached 163,787 units in September, down 11.4% year-on-year. For the fiscal year from April to September 2025, total motorcycle sales amounted to 1,028,183 units, a slight drop of 0.2% from a year earlier.

In addition to domestic sales, Honda Vietnam exported 17,066 completely built-up (CBU) motorcycles to various markets, maintaining its position as one of Vietnam’s leading motorcycle manufacturers and exporters.

The company noted that despite the overall decline, its best-selling models, including the Vision, Wave Alpha, Air Blade, and SH Mode, continued to attract consumers thanks to their stylish designs, fuel efficiency, and stable quality.

In September, Honda Vietnam sold 1,704 automobiles, a significant decrease of 52.8% compared to the same month last year. However, the total auto sales for the fiscal year 2025 have reached 11,745 units, reflecting a modest year-on-year increase of 1.8%./.
