- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 10 called for swift actions to streamline Vietnam’s inspection system, enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency.

Chairing the 11th meeting of the Government Steering Committee on the implementation of the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on streamlining the political system’s organisational structure for improved efficiency, PM Chinh emphasised that these efforts will help reduce overlaps and enhance the sector’s performance. - The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee concluded its 42nd session on February 10, successfully completing all on the agenda.

- The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee reviewed the investment proposal for the Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway project during its 42nd session on the afternoon of February 10.

According to the Government’s proposal, the project aims to construct a modern, integrated rail line to meet both domestic and international transportation demands, particularly between Vietnam and China. - The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee on February 10 continued its 42nd session by reviewing the Government's proposal to adjust Vietnam’s 2025 economic growth target to at least 8%, aiming to accelerate national development and establish a strong foundation for sustained double-digit growth from 2026 onward.

According to the Government's proposal, 2025 is an important year marking the final stage of the 2021-2025 socioeconomic development plan, a year of accelerated growth and preparations for the 14th National Party Congress to advance to a new era. - Vietnam continues to be the top travel destination for the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s families with children under 10 for the second consecutive year, according to Hana Tour – the East Asian nation’s largest travel agency.

Based on booking trends in January and the demand for international travel during the winter holiday, Vietnam accounted for 26.6% of all overseas family bookings, leading the list of preferred destinations. Top legislator calls for strong Party building, reform in National Assembly

NA Chairman Man, who is also a Politburo member and Secretary of the NA Party Committee, said that the committee, with nearly 3,000 members, must maintain strict organisational principles and build a clean and strong Party organisation that promotes solidarity, democracy, responsibility, unity, and creativity.
