- A red-carpet welcome ceremony was held at Merdeka Palace - the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on March 10 for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly, who are on a state visit to Indonesia at the invitation of Indonesian President and President of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) Prabowo Subianto.

As the two leaders ascended the ceremonial platform, the national anthems of Vietnam and Indonesia were played, accompanied by a 21-gun salute, symbolising Indonesia's high regard for the visit. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on March 10 emphasised that eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is a duty driven by compassion, morality, and a sense of responsibility for the community.

- Due to strikes at Frankfurt and Munich, the two largest airports in Germany, from midnight to 11:59 pm on March 10 (local time), six flights operated by Vietnam Airlines linking Germany and Vietnam have had their schedules adjusted, announced the airline.
Specifically, flight VN36 from Frankfurt to Hanoi, originally scheduled for March 10, will now depart at 11:55 am on March 11 (local time). Flight VN30 from Frankfurt to Ho Chi Minh City, also on March 10, will take off at 11:05 am on March 11 (local time). - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) on March 10 officially announced the appointment of Okiyama Masahiko as the new head coach of the country’s U17 and U20 women's football teams, responsible for their training and development in preparation for upcoming international competitions.
Born on March 15, 1968, he is a Japanese coach with over three decades of experience in football. He previously served as the head coach of several national teams and clubs, including the Jordan women's national team from 2012 to 2014.
