- The official visit to Vietnam by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev will open up a new stage for the two countries’ friendship and multifaceted cooperation, Party General Secretary To Lam said while receiving the PM in Hanoi on March 6.

Congratulating Kyrgyzstan on its significant achievements in recent times under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov and the administration of the Government, Lam affirmed that Vietnam highly values its friendship with Kyrgyzstan, a traditional partner that has supported the Vietnamese people both in their past struggle for independence and ongoing development efforts. - Ministries, sectors and localities ought to ensure the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial park workers during 2021–2030, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told a national teleconference on this issue on March 6.

Under the programme on building at least 1 million social housing units, 655 projects have been implemented nationwide, offering over 593,000 units. However, the disbursement of the 120 trillion VND (4.7 billion USD) preferential credit package for the programme is still slower than expected, according to reports presented at the event. - The Ministry of Industry and Trade aims to complete the necessary procedures for establishing the Vietnam - Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Committee in the first quarter of 2025, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said on March 6.

Receiving Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev and Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, who are accompanying Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev during his official visit to Vietnam, Dien shared that the two sides will hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee in June 2025. - A golden sweep of ripening rice fields now blankets Los Palacios district, Pinar del Río province of Cuba, heralding a breakthrough in agricultural cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba.

This success story is the fruit of a pioneering partnership between Vietnamese company Agri VMA and local Cuban farmers, surpassing all expectations. In just three months, a 16-ha pilot project cultivating the CT16 rice variety delivered an average yield of 7.2 tonnes per hectare. - A workshop was held in Bangkok on March 6 to promote tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand.

These services include Viettel Threat Intelligence – a solution for assessing and updating cybersecurity intelligence, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing – which identifies and fixes security vulnerabilities before hackers exploit them, Viettel Compromise Assessment – which evaluates system intrusions, and Red Team – which simulates sophisticated cyberattacks to enhance enterprise defence capabilities.
