- Party General Secretary To Lam requested the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) to continue firmly ensuring national energy security, and leading industrialisation and modernisation while attending a ceremony to mark its 50th founding anniversary (September 3, 1975-2025) on September 21.

Congratulating the group on its great achievements, General Secretary Lam emphasised that looking back over the past 50 years, Petrovietnam has made tremendous contributions, as it has accounted for 20-30% of total state budget revenue for many years, played an important role in stabilising the macro-economy and ensuring national energy security. It and even helped to sustain the lifeline of society and safeguard regime security during challenging times amidst global political upheavals. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who heads the Steering Committee for reviewing and untangling knots in the legal document system, affirmed three objectives in legal review while chairing the committee's sixth meeting in Hanoi on September 20.

He underlined that the first target is to make an institutional reform by shifting from an administrative management state to a developmental and service-oriented state, creating a more enabling environment for people and businesses. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the sixth meeting of the Coordinating Council for Red River Delta Region in Hanoi on September 20, during which he urged the region to take the lead in three major areas to drive the country to the new era.

NA Chairman attends rehearsal for fourth Dien Hong awards

More than 10 months after the competition’s launch, the organising board received 3,508 entries from 125 media outlets nationwide. After initial screening, 659 works proceeded to preliminary judging, from which a preliminary jury selected 91 entries for the final round. The final jury ultimately selected 64 works for awards.

PM directs tasks to boost economic growth

To fully realise the 2025 socio-economic development plan, while creating momentum for 2026, PM Pham Minh Chinh urged ministers, heads of ministry-level agencies, and chairpersons of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to strictly follow resolutions of the Party, the National Assembly and the Government, along with the Prime Minister’s directives.
