Nguyen Van Ut elected Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee

New Chairman of the Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut is a capable and experienced official in State management and Party building. In all previous posts, he had fulfilled his duties effectively and made important contributions to local development.

Dong Nai (VNA) – The People’s Council of the southern province of Dong Nai on November 18 elected Nguyen Van Ut as Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee with 107 out of 107 votes.

The council relieved Vo Tan Duc of the position of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure for taking up a new assignment.

At a ceremony held earlier the same day, Nguyen Thanh Tam, member of the Party Central Committee and deputy head of its Organisation Commission announced the decision by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat to terminate Ut’s participation in the Party Committee of Tay Ninh province and its Standing Board as well as his role as Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure. The Secretariat also decided to transfer and assign Ut to join the Party Committee of Dong Nai province and its Standing Board, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Tam stated that Ut is a capable and experienced official in State management and Party building. In all previous posts, he had fulfilled his duties effectively and made important contributions to local development.

He requested that Ut, together with the Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, focus on implementing the action programme of the provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Priority should be given to key tasks and strategic breakthroughs, particularly the development of an industrial and services ecosystem associated with the Long Thanh International Airport.

In his inaugural remarks, Ut pledged to work closely with the provincial leadership to advance Dong Nai’s development in line with the Resolution of the provincial Party Congress and commensurate with the province’s role and position./.

Frigate 015 – Tran Hung Dao concludes visit to RoK
