Reference exchange rate continues to rise on January 10

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,341 VND/USD on January 10, up 3 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,341 VND/USD on January 10, up 3 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,558 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,124 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw increases.

At 8:31 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,198 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,558 VND/USD, both up 4 VND from the rates on January 9./.
