Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on October 22

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,099 VND/USD on October 22, unchanged from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,099 VND/USD on October 22, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,354 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,844 VND/USD.

At 8:35, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks showed slight fluctuations.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,153 VND/USD, up 10 VND, and the selling 26,353 VND/USD, unchanged from the October 21 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV kept both rates unchanged, listing the buying rate at 26,153 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,353 VND/USD./.
