Reference exchange rate kept unchanged

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,982 VND/USD on June 3, up 12 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,982 VND/USD on June 3, up 12 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,231 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,733 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks remained stable.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV kept their both rates unchanged from the June 2 morning session, listing the buying rate at 25,850 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,210 VND/USD./.
