Hanoi (VNA) – Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) on July 2 announced that it had delivered over 29,000 vehicles to Vietnamese customers in the first half of 2025, a 31% increase compared to the same period last year.
Significantly, the company reached a cumulative sales figure of 999,857 vehicles by the end of June. This milestone puts Toyota on track to surpass one million vehicles sold this July, coinciding with the brand’s 30th anniversary in the country.
According to TMV, total sales in June reached 6,536 units, including both Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Of these, 6,213 were Toyota-branded units, comprising 2,163 locally assembled and 4,050 fully imported vehicles.
Among Toyota’s offerings in Vietnam, hybrid models continue to see impressive growth, with 771 units sold in June, nearly doubling that of last year. This underscores a clear shift in local consumer preferences towards eco-friendly, fuel-efficient vehicles that maintain strong performance.
In the luxury segment, Lexus further solidified its presence, with 323 vehicles sold in June, doubling May’s sales. Since its launch in Vietnam, Lexus has delivered a total of 14,616 units to customers./.
