Vietnamese, Chinese defence ministers visit Dong Dang Primary School

Lang Son (VNA) - Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang hosted an official welcome ceremony at Huu Nghi Border Gate in Lang Son province on April 17 for Chinese Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Dong Jun and a high-level delegation of the Chinese Ministry of National Defence, who came to attend activities of the 9th Vietnam–China Border Defence Friendship Exchange.

On this occasion, the two ministers planted a tree and visited a friendship garden cultivated by the youth from both countries’ armed forces in the border area, symbolising the younger generation’s commitment to preserving and promoting the longstanding tradition of Vietnam–China solidarity and friendship.

The 9th Vietnam–China Border Defence Friendship Exchange coincides with the 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 – 2025) and the Year of Vietnam - China Humanistic Exchange 2025./.
