Hanoi (VNA) - Filum AI, Vietnam's customer experience management (CXM) platform using AI, has successfully raised 1 million USD in funding from leading regional investment funds and strategic investors, signaling strong confidence in its potential.

Filum AI announced on March 18 that it had secured funding from regional prestigious investment funds, including Nextrans, VinVentures, and TheVentures, as well as strategic investors: Hung Tran (founder of Got It and AIforVietnam.org), Tran Anh Dung (founder of MOG) and other individual investors.

Founded in 2020 by experts from Silicon Valley and Vietnam, Filum AI aims to help businesses achieve sustainable growth through AI-powered CXM solutions. The company is led by CEO Tran Van Vien, co-founder of Base.vn, who has over a decade of experience in digital transformation.

Despite ongoing challenges in the global funding landscape, Filum AI's success in raising capital underscores investor confidence in the startup's technological capabilities and strategic vision.

A representative of VinVentures noted that Filum AI is one of the rare startups with strong technological expertise and the potential to deliver real business value. The investment also marks one of VinVentures' first major deals since its launch in October 2024.

The newly raised funds will enable Filum AI to expand its R&D team, accelerate product development, enhance customer support, and expand into the Southeast Asian market.

CEO Tran Van Vien emphasised that the funding will drive the company’s efforts in developing advanced AI solutions, particularly AI Agents, to help businesses optimise costs, improve customer experiences, and enhance operational efficiency.

Vien expressed optimism that as AI remains an unstoppable trend, the investment will provide not only financial backing but also opportunities for strategic and technological collaborations, ultimately helping Vietnam strengthen its position as a leading AI hub in the region./.
