Hong Kong (VNA) – The Consulate General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and Macau opened a booth to promote Vietnam's tourism at the Hong Kong Holiday and Travel Expo 2025, taking place from February 20-23.
The expo features 300 booths from countries and regions around the world, offering diverse and high-quality travel products, with a particular focus on the needs of the elderly.
The Vietnamese booth has attracted a large number of visitors who want to learn about the country's visa policy and destinations. Many of them shared that they are impressed by the Vietnamese landscapes, cuisine and people when visiting localities such as Da Nang, Hoi An, Phu Quoc, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnamese Consul General Le Duc Hanh said in 2024, Vietnam welcomed over 17 million international visitors. Currently, there are 14 direct flights between Vietnam and Hong Kong operated daily by five airlines, with two more set to be launched soon.
He said that Vietnam’s booth at the expo aims to connect the tourism industries of Vietnam and Hong Kong, as many international airlines and tourism companies promote various destinations in Vietnam.
He added that tourism and leisure activities serve as a means of people-to-people exchange, especially when Vietnam and Chine celebrate the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic relations and the “Year of Vietnam - China Humanistic Exchange” in 2025./.
