Hanoi (VNA) - Hai Phong’s pavilion at the Autumn Fair 2025 is designed as an experiential journey linking the past with the future, from natural produce and traditional culture to advanced technology, showcasing a dynamic, innovative city with an aspiration for reaching far.

According to Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong, the city’s participation in the fair aims to promote local trade, services, and technology sectors, strengthen supply-demand connections and introduce Hai Phong as one of Vietnam’s key industrial, commercial, and logistics hubs.

The exhibition highlights OCOP products, local specialties, key industrial goods, and logistics services, creating opportunities for local enterprises and cooperatives to expand markets, attract investment, and strengthen their brand presence both domestically and internationally.

The display journey begins with local agricultural products such as Viet Y honey and Thang Thuy chrysanthemum tea, followed by the VICO booth, which features eco-friendly detergents and cosmetics produced with green technologies.

According to VICO’s General Director Nguyen Mong Lan, the fair offers an ideal platform to connect producers with consumers and affirm Hai Phong’s commitment to sustainable industrial development.

The OCOP zone features iconic products including Que Huong green bean cakes, Sovi canned seafood, Hai Au Viet “ruong ruoi” rice, and the century-old Cat Hai fish sauce brand. Each product tells the story of local creativity, blending tradition with modern, eco-conscious production.

Under the theme “Hai Phong – connecting a green future,” the city’s industrial and high-tech exhibition area presents an image of Hai Phong’s transformation as a northern industrial powerhouse.

Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long noted that the city’s pavilion is expected to attract around 20,000 visitors daily, underscoring Hai Phong’s image as a vibrant, innovative, and forward-looking coastal city, a driving force in northern Vietnam’s industrial and logistics network, and a highlight of the fair.

Hai Phong’s economy has maintained double-digit growth for a decade, averaging 11.39% per year. By 2025, industry and construction are expected to account for over 55% of its economy, while services more than 34%, reflecting its shift toward digitalisation and green growth.

The quality of growth has been elevated and its economic structure is shifting positively towards industrialisation, modernisation, digitisation, and environmental sustainability. By 2025, industry and construction are projected to account for over 55%, while the service sector more than 34%./.
