Hanoi – Chengdu flights will start on July 1 while the Hanoi – Xi’an route will commence on July 6.

HCM City (VNA) - Welcoming the vibrant Summer, Vietjet has officially opened sale for tickets on new routes connecting Hanoi to Chengdu and Xi’an, China, with the first flight taking off on July 1, 2025, ticket prices from only 0 VND at www.vietjetair.com and Vietjet Air app.

These new routes enable travelers to refresh their summer journeys by discovering the rich heritage of Xi’an, admiring the giant pandas, China’s national treasure, in Chengdu, and enjoying the enchanting allure of China.

From July 1, 2025, Hanoi – Chengdu flights will depart from Noi Bai International Airport at 21:10 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, arriving at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport at 00:15 the next day. The return flights depart Chengdu at 01:15 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, arriving in Hanoi at 02:25 on the same day.

The Hanoi – Xi’an route will commence on July 6, 2025, with flights departing Noi Bai International Airport at 21:25 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, landing at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport at 01:10 the next day. Return flights from Xi’an depart at 02:10 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, arriving in Hanoi at 04:10 on the same day.

Xi’an, China’s ancient capital for 13 dynasties, is a heritage city featuring iconic landmarks such as the Ancient City Wall of Chang’an and the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, inviting travelers to explore its deep historical roots. Meanwhile, Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, is renowned for its unique cuisine, national panda reserve, and the breathtaking world heritage site Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Vietnam Airlines to launch direct Hanoi–Amsterdam service on June 16

Under the plan, the Hanoi–Amsterdam route will commence operations on June 16, 2026, with an expected frequency of three return flights per week using modern wide-body Airbus A350 aircraft.
