Government Party Organisation to convene first congress for 2025-2030 tenure from Oct.12 - 13

The congress will see the presence of 453 delegates, including 60 ex-officio, 157 officially appointed, and 236 elected delegates, who represent over 209,000 Party members from 2,211 grassroots Party organisations.

Hanoi (VNA) – The first Congress of the Government’s Party Organisation for the 2025-2030 tenure will be held in Hanoi from October 12 - 13, heard a press conference on October 9.

Regarding the preparations for the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son stated that this is the first congress of the Government Party Organisation under the new organisational model.

It takes place in the context that the entire Party, people, and armed forces are making concerted efforts and determination to successfully achieve the socio-economic development goals for 2025 and the 2021-2025 plan, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The congress will see the presence of 453 delegates, including 60 ex-officio, 157 officially appointed, and 236 elected delegates, who represent over 209,000 Party members from 2,211 grassroots Party organisations.

Around 120 guest delegates are invited to the congress. Party General Secretary To Lam is expected to attend and deliver a speech at the event.

The congress will review and assess the results of the work; and evaluate the leadership and direction of the Government Party Committee during the 2020-2025 term; set out the directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the new term; and discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents to be presented at the 14th National Party Congress./.
