- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his hope that the Czech Republic’s Skoda Auto a.s. would help develop Vietnam’s automotive industry ecosystem at a reception in Hanoi on March 27 for its Chairman and CEO Klaus Zellmer.

- United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs Elinor Hammarskjöld expressed her appreciation of Vietnam’s role and proactive, practical contributions to the UN’s legal forums while receiving Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN, in New York on March 26.

Vietnamese army ready to join earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar

The Vietnam People's Army (VPA) has developed a Myanmar disaster relief deployment plan involving 79 military personnel, including command staff, communications teams, search-and-rescue forces, military dog handlers, and medical staff. Colonel Pham Hai Chau, deputy director of the VPA General Staff’s Search and Rescue Department, will lead the mission.
