- Party General Secretary To Lam welcomed the long-term commitments and expanding investment presence of China’s Luxshare-ICT Group in Vietnam when he received the group’s Vice Chairman Wang Laisheng in Hanoi on November 15.

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse Le Thi Bich Tran, and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam met with staff of Vietnamese representative offices and the Vietnamese community in Kuwait on the evening of November 16.

At the meeting, the PM, who is on an official visit to Kuwait, briefed the community on Vietnam–Kuwait relations, noting Kuwait was the first member in the Gulf Cooperation Council and among the earliest in the Middle East to establish diplomatic ties with Vietnam shortly after the country’s reunification in 1975. - President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil will pay an official visit to Vietnam from November 18 to 22.

- The fifth round of in-person negotiations on the Vietnam – US Reciprocal Trade Agreement concluded after the three-day session from November 12 to 14 in Washington DC, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has reported.

Vietnam’s negotiating delegation was led by Minister of Industry and Trade and Government Chief Negotiator Nguyen Hong Dien, joined by members of the negotiating team and representatives from the Ministries of Public Security, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Home Affairs, Agriculture and Environment, Science and Technology, and Justice, and the State Bank of Vietnam. - VIPTAM Technology Group JSC (VIPTAM Group) has officially established long-term strategic trade partnerships with major international brands, introducing a new model to promote bilateral trade between Vietnam and the US through VDONE Network, a multimedia social platform developed by the group.

At the signing ceremony held in Washington D.C. on November 14, VIPTAM Group and its comprehensive logistics partner, InLog Corporation, announced a 10-year cooperation strategy (2025–2035) with the goal of achieving 50 billion USD in two-way trade. Notably, for the 2025–2026 period, the parties aim for a total two-way trade value of 1 billion USD, including 500 million USD worth of Vietnamese exports to the US and 500 million USD worth of US products imported into Vietnam. - Vietnam’s EV maker VinFast on November 15 signed a series of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Indonesia's leading financial institutions to strengthen cooperation in promoting the country's green mobility transition.

The signings mark a significant milestone in VinFast's market expansion strategy in Indonesia and reaffirm the company's strong commitment to enabling Southeast Asian consumers to switch to electric vehicles with ease and confidence, VinFast said in its press release. Read full story

- Le Tuan Minh won Vietnam’s two gold medals in chess at the Asian Mind Sports Conference & Festival, which closed on November 15 in Singapore.

The Vietnamese Grandmaster tied with GM Priasmoro Novendra of Indonesia in the last match, which was enough for him to top the podium in the men’s rapid chess category. Read full story

Frigate 015 – Tran Hung Dao concludes visit to RoK

Nhon Trach 3 and 4 thermal power plants reflect Vietnam’s determination, expertise: PM

The Nhon Trach 3 and 4 power thermal plants, invested by Petrovietnam Power Corporation, have a total investment of around 1.4 billion USD. With a combined capacity of 1,624 MW, the plants are expected to supply over 9 billion kWh annually once fully operational, adding substantial baseload power to the system, particularly in the southern region.
