Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,835 VND/USD on April 1, down 2 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,077 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,593 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw a slight increase.
At 8:35 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,410 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,770 VND/USD, both up 10 VND from the March 31 morning session./.
