Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on October 24

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,098 VND/USD on October 24, unchanged from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,098 VND/USD on October 24, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,353 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,843 VND/USD.

At 8:40, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks showed slight fluctuations.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,152 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 26,352 VND/USD, down only 1 VND from the October 23 morning session.

Meanwhile, BIDV raised listing the buying rate by 60 VND to 26,152 VND/USD while kept the selling rate unchanged at 26,352 VND/USD./.
