Hanoi (VNA) – The organising subcommittee for the 14th National Party Congress held the 4th meeting on September 16 under the chair of Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

At the event, Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office, reported on the coordination in preparing for the 14th congress since the 3rd meeting in April 2025, and on the performance of the subcommittee’s seven key task groups.

Representatives of relevant agencies reported on progress in fulfilling specific tasks, including designing two badge models for delegates and guests, selecting posters, inviting foreign press agencies and diplomatic missions, and ensuring security and order.

Subcommittee members agreed that preparations for the 14th National Party Congress, slated for early 2026, have been actively and effectively carried out, meeting the planned schedule.

Commending the sense of responsibility of the officials, agencies, and units, Tu, who is also head of the sub-committee, urged them to continue close coordination to avoid delays or omissions, and uphold leadership accountability through regular supervision.

Conditions must be in place so that equipment, infrastructure, and facilities serving the congress can be put into trial operation on November 15, he requested.

He stressed that decorations and visual promotions welcoming the congress in Hanoi and nationwide should be implemented early, from mid-October, to foster a lively atmosphere for this major political event. He also underlined the importance of ensuring absolute safety for delegates, guests, diplomatic missions, and foreign officials invited to the congress.

Tu called on relevant agencies, units, and subcommittee members to maintain a strong sense of responsibility, diligently follow their assigned tasks, actively oversee implementation, and further enhance coordination to ensure effective execution of duties.

The official expressed confidence that relevant agencies will strengthen their efforts to properly perform the assigned tasks, contributing practically to the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress./.
