HCM City (VNA) – Vietfood & Beverage – Propack Vietnam 2025, the largest international food and beverage (F&B) exhibition in Vietnam, opened in Ho Chi Minh City on August 7.
The event features 1,400 booths and brings together 1,000 businesses from 20 countries and territories. This year’s edition is expected to serve as a bridge connecting domestic and international brands, showcase high-quality and competitive products, and offer an opportunity for investment promotion and sustainable trade cooperation.
In the beverage segment, the exhibition is host to innovative and sustainable products such as health-focused beverages, drinks made from organic ingredients, and branded products associated with local identity and regional culinary traditions. Notable brands include Lac Quan Vietnam, Luong Quoi, and Risen Food Vietnam.
In the processed food segment, the spotlight is on clean, safe, and convenient food products that utilise artificial intelligence and automation in processing, as well as smart packaging solutions that extend shelf life without the need for preservatives. Key exhibitors include Masan, Tan Nhat Huong, Canh Dong Vang, Maspex Group, Gan Brother Foods, TH True Food, Siam Organic Food, and Global Food.
More than a product showcase, Vietfood & Beverage – Propack Vietnam 2025 is designed as a comprehensive ecosystem where businesses, experts, and consumers can share knowledge, explore technologies, and connect for collaboration. Packaging, technology, and machinery—considered the backbone of the modern supply chain—are prominently featured, with a focus on automation, smart packaging, and advanced printing technologies that help reduce costs, boost productivity, ensure food safety, and meet export standards.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, highlighted the exhibition as a key platform for trade promotion. Over the years, it has proven to be an effective venue for product marketing and technology transfer between domestic and international enterprises.
Running through August 9, the exhibition also includes several notable side events. These include the “Leading EPR Transition – Effective & Sustainable” forum, jointly organised by Viet Nam News and Law along with other partners, with a focus on policies and the roadmap for implementing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)—a mandatory requirement for manufacturers and packaging enterprises from 2025.
Other highlights include a seminar themed “Leveraging Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the Food Supply Chain”, the Young Chefs Challenge cooking contest, and various B2B networking events./.
