- The Office of the Party Central Committee has released a notice on conclusions of Party General Secretary To Lam following a working session with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health and relevant central agencies on care and protection for children in special circumstances.
According to the notice, dated November 26, at the meeting on November 24, the General Secretary emphasised that children in special circumstances suffer multiple disadvantages in living conditions, nutrition, education and health care. Caring for them, he noted, is not only about alleviating present hardship but also about safeguarding the nation’s future and affirming the humanity of the socialist system. Read full story
- The Party Committee of Hanoi held a conference on November 28 to announce the Politburo’s decision on personnel matters, in which Vu Dai Thang was assigned as a member of the municipal Party Committee and its Standing Board, serving as Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
In the decision, Thang, born in 1975, ceases working as a member of the Party Committee of Quang Ninh province and its Standing Board, and steps down as Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. Read full story
- Visitors in Ho Chi Minh City are getting a first look at “Photography Without Borders,” a large-scale exhibition currently taking place on Nguyen Van Binh Book Street.

- The Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) Central Committee held a meeting at Lam Vien Da Lat Square in Lam Dong province on November 28 to mark the 2025 Action Month for Gender Equality and the Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence, with the participation of around 600 delegates.
The theme for this year’s action month is gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital era, reflecting the context in which Vietnam recently hosted the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi Convention) (October 25–26, 2025). Read full story
- The central province of Gia Lai on November 28 handed over investment licences to Arque Degi JSC for implementation of three strategic floating urban - tourism projects with a combined capital of about 8.5 trillion VND (322.31 million USD).
At a working session with Arque Degi JSC and a group of investors from Switzerland, Monaco and Panama on the three projects, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Thai Dai Ngoc said the projects represent a significant milestone in the province’s socio-economic development strategy, underpinning efforts to advance the high-end real estate sector and luxury super-yacht tourism. - The 4th International Asia–Europe New Music Festival opened in Hanoi on November 27, drawing 30 international composers and artists, along with 220 others from various domestic art units.
