– Party General Secretary To Lam has called for a strategic transformation in the mindset, methods, and approaches of the ideological and public outreach work, laying stress on the need to modernise the effort to meet the national development demand in the new era.

Presiding over a working session with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and Mass Mobilisation in Hanoi on June 11, he underscored the strategic significance of information, education, and mass mobilisation work, describing it as an indispensable bridge between the Party and people, serving as a driving force to promote the great national solidarity. – PM Pham Minh Chinh, speaking at the Vietnam – France business forum in Paris on June 11, emphasised that businesses need to join hands to connect the two economies, while the governments serve as facilitators—creating opportunities, providing favourable conditions, and promoting cooperation.

– PM Pham Minh Chinh on June 11 held working sessions with several French corporations and enterprises to promote cooperation and investment in areas such as aerospace, information technology, pharmaceuticals, railways, and energy, as part of his bilateral activities in France.

Meeting with Wouter van Wersch, Executive Vice President International of Airbus, the PM spoke highly of the group's successful cooperation with Vietnamese partners, including the VNREDSat-1 satellite project. – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on the French side to share experience and support Vietnam in developing railway industry during his working session with representatives of the French National Railway Company (SNCF) in Paris on June 11 as part of his bilateral activities in France.

Visiting the SNCF, Chinh and his entourage learnt about the company's models, approaches, and experiences in investing in, constructing, and operating railway projects in many countries, particularly high-speed rail systems. Read full story

– Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and his spouse Diana Nausediene, along with a high-ranking delegation of Lithuania, arrived in Hanoi on June 11, beginning an official visit to Vietnam from June 11-12 at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong.

Vietnamese naval ship completes mission at Kakadu Exercise 2026

Ship 016–Quang Trung of Brigade 162 under Naval Region 4 departed Sydney Harbour on the morning of March 25 for home after successfully completing activities within the framework of the Exercise Kakadu Fleet Review 2026 marking the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy and the multilateral naval exercise Kakadu 2026.
