- Party General Secretary To Lam emphasised the need to ensure there are no “gaps” or “blind spots” in Party inspection and supervision while addressing a national conference held by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on November 24 to review inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in 2025 and the 13th tenure.
At the event, which was held in the Party Central Committee’s headquarters and connected online to all provincial and municipal Party Committees and Party bodies under the Party Central Committee, participants observed a minute of silence for victims of recent storms and flooding, and contributed donations to support affected localities. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed an official dispatch, urging ministries, sectors and local authorities in the south-central region to focus on recovery efforts, restoring production and business activities, and stabilising people’s lives after recent floods.
The document was addressed to the Secretaries of the Party Committees and Chairpersons of the People’s Committees of Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces; ministers and heads of ministry-level and government agencies; and the Office of the National Steering Committee for Civil Defence, highlighting the great efforts made by the entire political system, Party committees at all levels, and local authorities in controlling and overcoming the aftermaths of the natural disasters. - The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) on November 24 launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the central region in overcoming the consequences of severe flooding, responding to the call from the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
The launching ceremony was held in person at the VNA headquarters in Hanoi and online with the agency’s regional information centres in the central – Central Highlands and southern regions, as well as its ITAXA printing company. Read full story
- The Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently held a conference to implement the national logistics development strategy for 2025-2035, with a vision to 2050, the first of its kind with long-term and comprehensive scale and clear quantified targets.
Speaking at the November 21 event, Deputy Director General Tran Thanh Hai of the ministry’s Agency of Foreign Trade, said the blueprint was approved under the Prime Minister’s decision dated October 9, 2025. This is the first logistics strategy ever issued by the Government, demonstrating that the sector is now regarded as a key economic one and reflecting strong State commitment to developing logistics services in the new period. - Vietnam is well placed to seize opportunities from the burgeoning growth of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector, with the domestic market projected to reach 2–3 billion USD by 2030, targeting 10 billion USD in revenue and 1 million jobs by 2035, according to experts.
According to Markets & Markets and PwC, the global aerospace industry, especially the UAV sector, is booming with a compound annual growth rate of over 15%. The global UAV market is expected to hit 128 billion USD in 2030 and rise to 700 billion USD by 2035. Read full story
