Dak Lak (VNA) - The Politburo has appointed Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Da Nang city Party Committee, as Secretary of the Party Committee of Dak Lak province for the 2025–2030 term.

The appointment was announced at a conference held by the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee on October 16, with the attendance of Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), and head of its Organisation Commission.

Addressing the ceremony, Hung praised Triet as a young, well-trained official with extensive experience across various positions in localities, saying Triet has shown strong leadership capacity.

Triet was asked to closely follow the Politburo’s directives at the provincial Party Congress, promptly disseminate and implement the 2025–2030 action programme of the Party Congress, and issue new working regulations. He emphasised the importance of fair and transparent personnel arrangements after the congress to ensure consensus, unity and democracy within the local Party Organisation.

He also reminded the new provincial leader to align with the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat’s orientations for the new development phase, particularly those outlined in Party General Secretary To Lam’s closing speech at the 13th Party Central Committee's 13th plenum. Key priorities include preparing for the 14th National Party Congress, completing the remaining targets of the 13th National Congress’s Resolution, and fulfilling 2025 socio-economic goals and the 2021–2025 plan.

In his speech, Triet expressed deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Organisation Commission, and General Secretary Lam for their trust in assigning him to lead the Party Organisation of Dak Lak province — a locality with strategic significance in national defence, security, and substantial potential in economic, cultural, and social development.

He pledged to dedicate his full effort to fulfilling the Party’s expectations and the goals set out in the first Congress of the Dak Lak provincial Party Organisation for the 2025–2030 term. He vowed to work with the provincial Party Organisation and political system to build Dak Lak into a prosperous, sustainable province and a new growth engine for the Central Highlands and south central coastal regions./.
