Hanoi (VNA) – Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Queen Suthida will pay a state visit to Vietnam from September 14 to 16.
The visit will be made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam and his spouse, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs./.
The festival provides an opportunity to showcase the rich traditional cultures of the two countries, review five decades of friendship and cooperation, and look towards the future.
Vietnamese Consul General in Khon Kaen Dinh Hoang Linh noted that building upon the friendship and cooperation over the past five decades, and with continuously strengthened political trust, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Thailand will keep growing substantively, serving the interests of both peoples and standing as a model of development cooperation within ASEAN.
The Thai Embassy in Vietnam teamed up with the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association (VTFA) and Nghe An provincial authorities on August 10 to host a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic relations.
The Vietnam-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership should continue to be nurtured on the foundations of mutual trust, respect for each country’s identity and a shared responsibility to promote dialogue between Southeast Asia and Europe. In the statement, Vietnam and Russia clarified concrete measures to bolster their cooperation in specific fields, including political and diplomatic affairs, defence and security, economy and trade, fuel and energy, transport, industry and agriculture, science – technology, education – training, health care, and people-to-people exchanges.
Russian President Vladimir Putin described General Secretary and President To Lam as a respected and visionary political figure and a true patriot who has chosen the path of devoted service to the Fatherland and the protection of national interests.
Both host and guest concurred that in the new development period, science – technology, innovation and digital transformation should become a new driver of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The two sides concurred that the Vietnam–Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has achieved positive, substantive, and comprehensive progress based on shared interests and a firm foundation of mutual trust.
Principal Natalia Akulova said the school always maintains close cooperation with the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, and now has 30 Vietnamese students, adding that the school makes every effort to support their integration, study and development.
General Secretary and President Lam stressed that, as the facility is put into use amid complex developments in infectious diseases around the world, its greatest value lies in its capacity to detect and provide early warnings, as well as scientific evidence for policymaking aimed at preventing and combating them.
The accords span a wide range of spheres such as justice, finance, investment, transport, ethnic affairs, energy, nuclear safety, science and technology, education, and mineral resources.
